This website belongs to Ternaire inc. (Brossard, Québec, Canada). This page says what the website collects when you visit it or write to us. The Lapin app has its own privacy policy, which covers what the app collects.

Who is responsible

Ternaire inc. is responsible for the personal information collected by this website. The person in charge of protecting it is the vice-president of Ternaire inc. For any question or to exercise your rights: privacy@ternaire.ca or vieprivee@ternaire.ca (both reach the same place).

What the website collects

• No account, no form, no newsletter, no cookies. The website stores nothing in your browser and does not follow you from one site to another.
• Cookieless audience measurement: the website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits in aggregate (pages viewed, referring site, browser and device type, approximate country) with no cookie, no identifier and no individual profile. Cloudflare (United States) processes these measurements on our behalf.
• Hosting and security: the website is served by Cloudflare, whose technical logs (IP address, date and time, requested page) serve security and outage diagnosis, for a short time.
• The emails you send us: the website offers email addresses (contact@, support@, privacy@ and vieprivee@ternaire.ca), not a form. What you write serves to answer you; our email providers (Cloudflare, Google, United States) route it. We keep the exchange as long as it takes to handle your request, then at most 2 years, so we can come back to it if you write to us again.

We sell no data, there is no advertising on this website, and no data is shared for advertising purposes.

Outside Québec

Cloudflare and Google process this data mainly in the United States, where the law may differ from Québec's. Before entrusting information outside Québec, we assess the protection it will receive there and frame it by contract.

Your rights

At any time and free of charge, you can access the information we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, by writing to privacy@ternaire.ca or vieprivee@ternaire.ca from the email address concerned. You receive an acknowledgement within 5 business days and an answer within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (CAI) or, if you live elsewhere, with your country's data protection authority.

Incidents and governance

In the event of a confidentiality incident that presents a risk of serious harm, we notify you and we notify the Commission d'accès à l'information, as the law requires; we keep a register of incidents. Our personal information protection policies and practices are described in Lapin's privacy policy (section 15); they also apply to this website.

Changes

We may change this policy; the version date at the top of the page changes with every modification.
